This was my last day at Sabin. I had the best day with students, every student had made me a handwritten card. These cards are so meaningful to me in every way. I am so fortunate I got to spend as much time as I did at Sabine and I am vry grateful for the opportunity thst. had towokr with these amazing students. I am also very lucky with the realtionship I formed with my teacher, Caley Tapfer. She was truly amazing, I can't wait tot go back and see these kiddos throughout the year.

This last week, I had the opportunity to interview the children and ask them for goals. They had to set specific goals, one for friendship and one for academics. I noticed a lot of children were very self-aware of what they needed to work on. I truly enjoyed hearing every single response, it was beneficial for me as well.
Last week, I was in charge of performing short math tests with the students. I was able to see where every child was at in thier math academics. This was something that was really cool to be apart of, and get to experience ith the children.
This week I went to Sabin for the full school day. It was very interesting to see the students in their everyday routines. got a lot of one on one time with my teacher, and it was super beneficial. I got to ask a lot of questions and do a lot of reflecting with her.
Last Wednesday, October 25th. Students in Ms. Tapfer's classroom were feeling very high energy for the middle the week, we gathered in a circle to share our feelings and things we were excited for! Very high energy day but followed with reciprocity and high levels of caring for there. Walked out of the building feeling grateful for the day and opportunity to work with the kiddos.
On Wednesday the 16th of October, I volunteered in Ms. Tapfer's first grade classroom. That Wednesday we made cards for a fellow student who was ill, a great lesson on empathy and sympathy for others.
