I attended the Gingerbread House competition where I supported my friends in building a village. I gave them moral support and helped run to get small things for them.

I attended the event Redefining Thanksgiving. The food was great and it helped me to look at thanksgiving in an even more meaningful light.
I was an Empower mentor where I spent an hour to ninety minutes every week with two different mentees. I helped a group of mentors to support them academically and socially.
I hosted an event called Path & Wisdom where path had a mini family reunion. At this event path members, staff and I came up with different questions to discuss based on all scenarios of life.
Stephanie and I worked on the training powerpoint. I worked with Tenisha on polishing the donation request letter for the Afterschool Ambassadors Program.
This event was a panel discussion about racism, stereotypes and microaggressions that have been faced by students and staff. The panel took questions from the audience and spoke on their take of various situations where they've faced microaggressions from strangers and even stereotypes put upon them by their own family. It was a great discussion that opened a lot of people's ears to the way that they've been affected by these categories and how they might've affected other people by them.
Today I completed the initial draft of the Afterschool Ambassador donation request letter. I've also continued to make additions to the training powerpoint and continued researching various volunteer training information.
I worked on the bingo donation request letter. Then Stephanie came and we worked on the training powerpoint and adding an additional piece to our flyer in the union.
Today Tenisha and I discussed e-mail etiquette, scheduling, posting flyers throughout the campus and the we miss you e-mail.
We discussed sending updates of work done that day, scheduling, future policies for ambassadors, incentives and several other things concerning the Afterschool Ambassadors program.
