Volunteered at the annual Faire le Fete Children's Hospital fundraiser that was hosted on May 2nd at the new Children's Hospital. I was assigned to direct the SU band in preparation to perform at the start of the live auction.
The nutritional sciences students set up a tent at the Farmer's Market. We prepared games and activities for the kids and prepared a fresh strawberry salsa. We also participated in a cooking demonstration where we made a strawberry salad with strawberry vinaigrette.
