This truly was an experience. I had never been to a food bank before, and I felt accomplished as my friends and I worked in a meticulous fashion to seperate foods. As we moved along through the day, the process of separating good and expired food, and the packaging them became a hypnotic pattern of order and time. It seemed like we only got a little amount done but in reality we actually packaged a lot of food. In the end I felt really good about myself for helping families in need.
