I was able to help set up for trunk or treating and help while the event was going on. We were going to have musical chairs and play games, but sadly, we got rained out. We moved everything to a dry area and continued with the Halloween fun. It was fun to interact with kids and see all the different costumes. This was a very fun event and I would do it again.
I volunteered with Agape to help make quilts for their Heartlight event. We made the quilts so they could go on the picnic tables at the event. This was a very fun experience and I would definitely do it again.
I was able to make reference calls for future volunteers. We also got to help decorate boxes for a food drive which was very fun. I really enjoyed this experience and I would do it again.
I got to help organize Agape's volunteer closet and I was able to label t-shirts with staff names that corresponded with the size they chose. I really enjoyed this experience and I would do it again.
I was a navigator at Project Homeless Connect. I helped navigate for four people and it was an amazing experience. I was able to help those suffering from homelessness in Memphis get resources that they felt they needed and I got to be their friend for the day, as well as have lunch with them. Those I helped were so sweet, selfless, and inspiring. I also got to hear about their personal stories. The people I helped made an impact on my life, and I'm definitely going to volunteer for Project Homeless Connect again.

I got to assist with children's activities in one of the communities that Agape serves. We played many games, colored, and just had lots of fun. The kids were energetic and they were very fun to be around. I enjoyed this experience very much and I would do it again.

I had my orientation to start volunteering with Agape. We learned about the agency and the different opportunities to volunteer. We also were served dinner which was very nice of them.
