Did some editing to the NYAFF Program Shorts document. Went in and added a 'funder line' to most of our promotions for NYAFF flyers. Met with Brandon the venue owner of Search Party Studios to discuss arrangements and run through of the DDAAM 2 screening on the weekend of the 9th. We assigned roles and laid out logistics, as well as presented new ideas.
Put events into the Staten Island community calendar and created some Facebook posts for these events in order to promote. These were the comedy show featuring Gaetano and the St. George Theatre classic movie series for the month of March. Had a meeting with Daty Kaba concerning the NYAFF and got some insight. Worked on photoshopping images for social media posts.
Created a draft email template for the Mick Rock event and used the same template to email about other films as well. Made an excel sheet for information pertaining to Mick Rock, including a spreadsheet for a rider. Looked up where to buy a specific type of burger from, as per the rider. Did some research on multiple sites for ordering stickers and compiling the prices.
Created a document for and planned a layout of all social media posts starting from the following week and leading up to the day before the NYAFF screening, coordinating to have a post for every other day. Included what photos, tags, and hashtags to be posted. Shared with AM. Helped to set up and organize the bar for the John Foxell gallery opening, that night, at 7pm. Briefly went over updated website template for the films.
Had another staff meeting, as we do every Wednesday, for the most part. Later on attended a post mortem meeting for the first DDAAM screening with EB and AM. Discussed what went well and what went wrong and what we would like to see for the next screening at our venue. Also went over ways to promote for our screenings, specifically on social media. A plan, in advance, that lays out the images and hashtags used and people tagged. All needs approval by Gena. Delegated tasks, roles, and supplies for the time being. Went over NYAFF eblast final draft.
Revised each DDAAM, sensory film, and wheels flyer document with updated funder info from EB. Created my own email signature for RSVP confirmation to the guest list. Created a rider in excel for DJ Bobbito in terms of equipment and/or special requests to send to AM for approval/edits. Sent out confirmation emails to our RSVP guest list for our NYAFF screening and drafted another. Looked into the licensing of another film we are screening for a few months from now. Drafted invite templates for each DDAAM film screening.
Office was closed for the day, worked off-site. Caught up on emails from the past Friday. Was sent some updated documents of website and Facebook content for each downtown dinner and a movie film, the sensory film, and our wheels, wheels, wheels program to collaborate on. Briefly discussed a change of dates concerning the wheels program. Established marketing needs to fulfill and began working on how to accomplish them. Also reviewed the tentative DDAAM schedule.
Finished working web templates and editing flyers for the upcoming film screening of Shot! among others.
Had a staff meeting updating each other and discussing past, current, and future SI Arts events. Edited the website template for all of our DDAAM films.
