I love going here and love the conversations we have after. Today one of the other volunteers and I realized just how big of a privilege it is that we can go to the grocery store and pick our own flavors of yogurt. He said something along the lines of "I could go get mango, I don't even like mango, but I could" and that's just really stuck with me tonight.

It was interesting to see the difference in selection available this week compared to last time. It shows the lack of control afforded to the pantry and its patrons.
This was a new experience for me. I have only ever worked on the stacking and unboxing side of food pantries, getting to work with clients was very eye opening and lead to some great discussions with my team!
What we did did not completely fit the description but we still had fun!
Practice was rough, we had fun but the girls did not want to do anything.
I had big goals for practice today, but the girls were rowdy, we were missing four of them, and I did not think all the linguistics of my practice plan through enough. Hopefully the batting drilled helped though.
We squeaked out another win. The girls did not hit well tonight, or field well. One of my girls got hit in the face by a ball and then was scared to field it. On the upside two of my weaker players hit really well and are who scored our runs.
