Computing Activities Council as student rep--campus-wide community. Monthly meeting.
A full day at Merit Badge University under the APO aegis, required for all of us. I taught 2 merit badges: Law and American Heritage, one in the AM and one in the PM, with a full day of activities. Great way to impact BSA.
I participated in the Human Library project that the Multicultural Center sponsored. I became a living "book" with a title about my "narrative" that a "reader" could "check out" and "read" (a lot of quotation marks, I know). As an English teacher, I enjoyed being a warm-blooded "book" of experience. My title: From Foxhole to Ivory Tower.
Periodic meeting of the Arkansas Union Advisory Committee (I've been a member for 3 years).
Wilson Park Cleanup under the supervision of Esteban Gonzales, our Service Coordinator. 1st of 3 to get APO's name on a sign for Adopt-a-Park.
As a GSC Representative and officer, I also serve on the Grad Life Committee. Today GSC sponsored free pizza for all grads in the Gearhart Grad Lounge in order to spread the word about Grad Appreciation Week prof development events and the upcoming GPSC election.
Computing Activities Council (governs cybersecurity, tech in the classroom, etc.) monthly meeting. My membership came about by appointment to CAC as a University-wide committee.
Unexpectedly asked to pull one final shift for SkyFactor, 45 minutes. The GA was asking me to help fill shortfalls in staffing; contact Nina Ephremidze, on the 6th floor. This was the final day and the final shift.
Final day of administering the SkyFactor survey for the Ark Union Advisory Committee, 10-12 noon. All AUAC members are expected to participate in this event.
