Volunteered at the Wesleyan College Blood Drive
I learned about being a RA/OL
As an AmeriCorps VISTA serving with the United Way of Central GA's Economic Mobility Project, it was a great opportunity to meet Andrea Cook, the founder of Macon Periods Easier. To improve the economic status of those individuals living in poverty, the community as a whole needs to step up, realize a need, determine the best way to meet that need and put it into action. With so many volunteers, the process went faster than expected; however time spent networking was worth it.
I was really quick, but I enjoyed it.
