enjoyed my volunteer experience at the registration tent. instructions were clear, we were given examples of what to do if a response was different than expected.

also volunteer to hand out water at finish line as Candace stated some of those volunteers didn't show.

The staff for the registration tent were great! They made sure everyone had and understood all of the instructions of what to do and what was expected for the walkers registration. This made the process flow really well..

The only recommendation I have for next year is to have some pom-poms for the volunteers to show excitement with really pumping up the registration tent with a warm excited welcome

I loved the event as I always do. I have volunteered for year! I helped a booth, assisted with pictures for soooo many excited walkers and famiy members and I walked! Loved it. I know this event is well received by so many survivors and their family. It's gives them hope and encouragement as they celebrate their life.

Volunteering at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer was such a great time! We were setting up for the run they were hosting as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. We unloaded cases of waters, bananas, and granola bars for the runners and organized them in a way that it would just be a grab and go. We also unloaded and set up their shop which sold breast cancer awareness merchandise. We also set up signs at the finish line that listed the names of the cancer survivors and patients that the teams were running for. I would love to do this again.

Great experience! We were able to learn more about cancer association. We helped set up by doing many things. We set up the boutique, signs, and helped prepare for the volunteers to run!
