Social Work Action Group

About

The Social Work Action Group (SWAG) is a registered student organization for not only social work majors and minors, but for all students who enjoy service and taking action. The group regulary meets with a faculty advisor; however, the group is run primarily by students. The primary objective of SWAG is to enhance the learning experience of students while attending the university. We emphasize activities that will help develop student's awareness and experience in social work; while also volunteering and hosting different events. Through SWAG, student's can increase their involvement and have a better understanding of social work issues and critical problems society has.
