Zeta Tau Alpha - Georgia College

About

Zeta Tau Alpha adopted Breast Cancer Education and Awareness as the Fraternity's national philanthropy in 1992. At the 1996 International Convention, the Fraternity voted to increase ZTA's support of breast cancer awareness by backing all organizations committed to breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. ZTA partners with organizations including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Yoplait Yogurt, the NFL, SELF Magazine, and Lifetime. The Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation and chapters nationwide are striving to find a cure.

The young women of Zeta Tau Alpha at Georgia College are diligent in their efforts to raise awareness on the national philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness on campus and in the community. Whether it involves working at the survivors' tent at Race for the Cure, passing out shower cards and pink ribbons on campus, or raising money at our annual events we always have the importance of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness in our thoughts and heart!

Each year our sorority organizes several events held on campus that allow the students, faculty, the Milledgeville community and the Greek community to join together in order to support our philanthropy. Some of our biggest events are War of the Wings, Toss Away Cancer and our very own Pink Out 5k Race.
