About
At Ciudad Nueva, we are committed to Empowering Youth, Supporting Families, Equipping Leaders, and Strengthening Community alongside our neighbors in downtown El Paso, Texas!
Ciudad Nueva is a holistic, asset-focused, faith-based nonprofit community development organization that seeks to advance the renewal, development and thriving of the Rio Grande Neighborhood in downtown El Paso through the empowerment and transformation of its residents.
We began our journey in 2004 when we started our Launch Pad mentorship program with just 10 elementary students and now, 17 years later, Ciudad Nueva has built long-term relationships with hundreds of youth and families through our after-school programs, summer camps, Family Resource Center, Food Co-op, Neighborhood Leadership Development Initiative, small business incubator, Community Access Initiative, and Mental Health and Wellness Hub.
We have volunteer openings in the following program areas:
Launch Pad (Grades 3-5)
Kids Create (Grades 6-8)
Catalyst (Grades 9-12)
Food Co-op
Family Resource Center
Small Business Incubator
Community Access Initiative (Seniors and Neighbors with Disabilities)
