About
Welcome to the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. United Foundation of Central Florida is a public 501 C3 nonprofit organization formed in 2014 to bridge the gaps in our family, educational, and mentoring needs in our community using a holistic approach focused on early intervention, leading to prevention.
With the foundation's focus on Early Intervention, it's important that as a community we understand that the quality of your child's life during the first five years will set the stage for future learning and success. Ninety percent of a child's brain is developed before the age of 5. Within those early years, it's important that our children get the same educational opportunities across the country. Statistics provided by the Florida Department of Education show that one-third of Orange County children are unprepared for kindergarten.
