ESL for Refugees (English as a Second Language)

About

English as a Second Language for Refugees offers English classes to adult refugees from different countries and at all levels of fluency. Countries include: Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar/Burma, Africa, Cuba, and Central America.

Classes are held in person, 3 times a week, Wednesday through Friday from 9am to 12pm.

Staff, clients, and volunteers must follow COVID-19 safety measures (wearing masks at all times, temperature scans, and hand-sanitize).

In addition to English classes, the program provides babysitting services for clients with children between the ages 18 months-old to 4 years-old, so parents can attend class. Click on the volunteering descriptions for more information.
