Autism Climbs is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that strives to empower all those affected by autism through rock climbing activities.e invite individuals with autism, their families and friends to our FUNdamental Climbing Workshops, where they can strengthen family bonds, climb at their own speed, set individual challenges and foster a community. These workshops happen in several gyms, most regularly in ABC Kids Climbing in Boulder. People get a chance to try out climbing, a sport that many families living with special needs would not consider otherwise. We also organize informal Active Outings, as well as mobile climbing walls at events like the Autism Walk, and Outdoor Climbing Clinics in partnership with Climbing for Life, another Denver non-profit. These Outdoor Clinics are more structured and designed for kids aged 10 or older.
