Court Monitors Volunteers visit and assess the condition of individuals who have been placed under a guardianship (Wards), in accordance with Sc. 1054 of the Texas Estates Code. This helps to ensure their safety and to confirm that they are not being exploited or abused by others.
The Court Monitor Volunteers are responsible for the following:
1. Volunteers must pass a Criminal Background check form prior to starting.
2. Volunteer will schedule visits upon receiving assignments.
3. We prefer you commit to completing four (4) visits per month. You can help with more if interested.
4. You will be obtaining information required to fully complete a court monitor report.
Training is provided.
