It was cool because I got to meet new people, make new friends, and I even won the picture contest with my group. Can't wait til the next event!

Was assigned a building to turn off lights, and monitors to help conserve energy.

It was great seeing how little things like switching off a few light bulbs could do. As a bonus we had fun meeting new people too!

Turned off a whole lot more lights, monitors, and projectors than in previous attempts! My group had fun, we took several pictures and even posted to social media for the video/picture contest! Also, I was able to get a tshirt! Overall, Longhorn Lights Out is a great and fun way to save so much energy for the University, and for Texas!

It was fun getting to go around campus and turning lights off. It made me realize how much energy is wasted with lights being on for long periods of time and getting to conserve energy was an interesting thing to do.
