About

The Intern position is described below but may go beyond the scope of job description:

  • Support the Director in internal communications.

  • Update mailing list on mailchimp and add new contacts

  • Use different database and social media to promote awareness about organization
  • Sort out categories of different types of contacts for different purpose

  • Itemize action steps that would help Director hold staff members to account for the purpose of follow up

  • Keep a checklist for the Director for action steps he should complete and action steps each staff member should complete

  • Help with occasional external communication such as emails to partners, and updates on social media and website

  • Create and maintain a fundraising campaign to help the organization raise money (cold callings, set up and schedule meetings for Director with prospecting donors/ etc..)
  • May write Articles to enhance organization visibility within the US and abroad
  • Update and manage our website
  • Build and enhance a database of social service resources and partners
  • Assist in maintaining database of resources
  • Helping in sorting these data points through analysis and reports
  • Assist in finalizing reports, and utilizing such reports for various publications such as fliers, brochures, powerpoints, and additional promotional material


English proficiency-Good organization skills-Able to communicate efficiently - Good writing skills-Good Communication Skills- Able to overcome objections-  Able to work in a team as well as working independently
Bi-lingual : English and French Preferred
