BUSINESS SOLUTIONS TO RURAL ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY
The Village Link ("TVL") is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to build capacity and achieve long-term economic sustainability in rural underserved communities, in Sierra Leone, surviving on less than $1.90 a day. Our hybrid model aims to achieve this mission through education and vocational/entrepreneurial training programs, powered by solar and innovative technology. TVL launched the country's first all girls coding course in a rural village, installed internet in one of our rural centers, providing 15+ villages with outside communication access; teachers with high quality educational resources and partnered with Sierra Leone's top tech companies to train and build the country's first rural digital workforce, creating new job opportunities.
As an International Development Program Coordinator you will support the directors on multiple projects and with TVL's core programs: Early Childhood Education & Digital Literacy. This is a unique opportunity to work with a growing grassroots organization that is disrupting the cycle of poverty in an innovative way.
