Amigos is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 to support the growing Latino population of Richmond and Wayne County. As a center, Amigos supports the Latino community to engage actively in the life of the town, to benefit from the services that are provided, and to thrive as Richmond community members. The Corazon Latino Leader helps lead the group for Latino middle and high school students aimed at encouraging them to complete high school and go to college, raise awareness and instill pride in latino culture, as well as doing tutoring and mentoring.
