Volunteer with us as a meal delivery driver! Volunteers deliver nutritious lunchtime meals to homebound older adults and people with disabilities in Austin. Meals are prepared each weekday out of our Central Kitchen then sent out to 14 different pick-up sites all around Austin. Volunteers pick-up between 11:00-11:45, the usual time commitment is one lunch hour per week or you can sign up at a substitute driver. You can select your preference of which area of Austin you would prefer to deliver to! 

To become a volunteer attend a volunteer training session which is held every Thursday at 12:15 at our central kitchen location at 3227 East 5th St. Trainings typically last about an hour.

-Valid driver's license -Ability to pass a criminal background history -Current auto insurance -Access to a vehicle or bicycle in good working order
