Start your race season on the right foot with the Chicago Spring Half Marathon & 10K! Volunteering is a great way for future participants, friends, and family members of current participants, to get a close-up and behind the scenes view of the event.

2017 Race Changes!
We’re excited to announce some new changes for the 2017 Chicago Spring Half Marathon and 10K! Please pay special attention to the check-in location for your shift(s) as some of our check-in addresses have changed. The new addresses are very close to the ones from last year so it won’t change your commute drastically.

New Venue
This year, the finish festival of the Chicago Spring Half Marathon & 10K will be at Maggie Daley Park which is just steps away from our previous venue, Lake Shore East Park.

New Course
The Chicago Spring Half Marathon & 10K will start and finish along Columbus Drive, adjacent to our new race venue, Maggie Daley Park. The course will utilize a combination of closed streets and Lakefront Path giving way to sweeping views of Chicago’s famed skyline and Lake Michigan. With our new course, the Start Line, Finish Line, and a few of our Aid Stations will be at different locations.

Gatorade Endurance Formula
We’re proud to be partnered with Gatorade to provide Gatorade Endurance Formula on course at every Aid Station this year. Your Aid Station Captain will give you mixing instructions on race day.

We have discounted $15 flat rate parking for up to 12 hours for our volunteers at Millennium Lakeside Garage!
--- You can pick up your parking validation ticket at the Volunteer Tent on race morning. Special thanks to Millennium Lakeside Garages for offering a discount for our wonderful volunteers! Please use the Southbound entrance. The Northbound entrance on Columbus, between Monroe and Randolph will be closed due to the race.

Sunday - Aid Stations
Please meet directly at your Aid Station. There is a parking lot located near each Aid Station but standard rates apply.

Friday & Saturday - Fleet Feet Old Town
We recommend public transportation or street parking behind Piper’s Alley or on North Ave if you’re volunteering at Packet Pickup at Fleet Feet Old Town.
