About

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP with our Fayetteville Race Series event, "Run for the Parks!"

Get out those running shoes and head to our beautiful green spaces to show appreciation for Fayetteville's parks & trails! This race has something for all runners with three distance options: 8.5 miles, 4.5 miles, or 2.5 miles.

When: Sunday, November 20, 2016
Where: All races utilize the Fayetteville trail system (Clear Creek, Scull Creek, Frisco Trails) finishing in Walker Park.
8.5 mile Start: Lake Fayetteville (8:00am)
4.5 mile Start: Gordon Long Park (8:30am)
2.5 mile Start: Wilson Park (9:00am)
What: Run for the Parks is a chance for runners and walkers to show their support for the City of Fayetteville parks and trails! With several distance options and a festive finish area - we hope this race can find the runner hiding in everyone.

We are very much in need of more volunteers along the course and to assist with each of the three starts. Please share with friends and others who might be interested in helping!
