Welcome to the Environmental Justice SLCE Module!

Learn about environmental justice and engage in service involving key issues including protecting Florida habitats, advocacy campaigns, and in-person gardening opportunities. 

This is a 10 hour service opportunity.

Project Plan

The orientation is a required for all participants to complete before any other component of the module. 

Join the orientation to learn more about environmental justice, community partners, and activities.

       - Wednesday, April 7th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm 
       - Thursday, April 8th from 5:00 - 6:00 pm
       - Friday, April 9th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm 
       - Monday, April 12th 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Sign up for out Sustainability Saturday! April 17th from 9 am - 1 pm. We will be going to Historical Virginia Key Beach to remove invasive plant species. More information and registration link found below. Make sure to register for through the link below - spaces are limited. Please note this is a in-person event 

the Barry Urban Garden is an ongoing project to provide fresh produce to those experiencing food insecurity. The garden is wrapped around Powers Hall on Barry's main campus.
