About

*2021 Note: Convoy of Hope is following city regulations regarding COVID-19; the experience/requirements may be different during this time. We appreciate your patience as we all do our best to navigate these uncertain times.* Hands of Hope is Convoy of Hope's weekly volunteer opportunity at the Convoy of Hope Warehouse. What to expect: You'll enter through the volunteer entrance at the Convoy of Hope Warehouse and be greeted by our fantastic team of lead volunteers. Your first time each calendar year you will be asked to sign a participation waiver and every time after that you will sign in at our computer kiosks. We start each night with a short intro and explanation of the projects for the night and then we get to the fun stuff. Projects vary from grocery bagging for community events, to packing food for our children's feeding program, sorting clothing for rural pastors, and everything in between. We try to change it up each week so we encourage people to join us multiple Tuesdays to try out different projects and have a hand in all that Convoy does in the US and around the world. There are just a few rules: Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothes & closed toed shoes. Children ages 10-12 are welcome with their parent/guardian & students ages 13-17 are welcome with a parent/guardian signed waiver. Show up between 6-6:30 and stay till the end if you can to help clean up and set things back for our warehouse team. We plan projects each week based on estimated volunteer numbers, so we require groups of 10 or more to email volunteer@convoyofhope.org or call 417-851-6305 to reserve their spots or if you have any questions. Hope to see you there! The Hands of Hope Team
