Project Transformation Partner Churches-- including East End UMC-- are creating 70 “summer camps in a bag” to be distributed to children at our Project Transformation site in East Nashville- Trinity Community Commons! Now more than ever, children need resources to nurture their mind, body, and spirit while they are out of school and at home during this public health emergency.
BAG ITEMS:
❏ Finger pointer/ something to help follow along as you read (1)
❏ Rubik’s cube/ puzzle cube (1)
❏ Yo-yo (1)
❏ Crayons (1 box)
❏ Sidewalk chalk (1 box)
❏ Snack (2-3 servings, no peanuts please) Examples: Pretzels, microwave popcorn, fruit snacks, granola bars, fruit cups, jerky
Bags are needed by Wednesday, July 1st! The address to drop off supplies will be included in the follow-up e-mail.
- You are age 64 or younger
- You have not traveled (and nobody in your household has traveled) to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days.
- You have not been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
- You do not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19. (Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.)
- You have not been on a cruise or in an airport in the last 14 days.
