About

This is a long-term (200 hours, 4 hours/week, so basically a year) commitment, but if you’re interested in Mental Health, it would be a GREAT experience. They are especially looking for folks willing to operate the crisis lines at night, so this is a great opportunity for night owls! https://www.crisistextline.org/volunteer/
Please remember to click the green “Register” button on the upper right hand side of this page if you participate in this virtual service opportunity!

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.
  2. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
  3. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.
If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
