PRE-REGISTER for our upcoming spring and summer Signature Events! Below you will find a description and date for each event. By pre-registering, you are signing-up to receive communication when registration is live for each event listed below. 

National Reading Month

We are gearing up for Denver's Reading Room that will be featured in a special location during the month of March for National Reading Month. We need help filling the shelves! The priority is children’s books, but we will take all book donations (new and gently used books). We will be collecting all the books throughout February and the beginning of March. Please have all books to Mile High United Way by March 10th and join us for the kick off on March 16th at Union Station. 

Special Interests: Reading, education, National Reading Month, Read Across America, drive, great opportunity for groups! 

National Volunteer Week
April 20th- 24th 2020

National Volunteer Week is a week to active, engage and celebrate the communities where we live work and play. Choose from multiple projects that best fit your liking.

Special interests: Skill based, hands on, resources, children, direct services, school aged children, youth, great opportunity for individuals or groups!

Denver Day of Service
June 5, 2020

The Denver Broncos and Mile High United Way have partnered for the second annual Denver Day of Service – a one-day, multi-project initiative bringing together hundreds of volunteers to impact our community. Dozens of simultaneous service projects, hosted by local nonprofit organizations, will occur across Metro Denver and provide hands-on volunteer experiences for individuals and groups of all sizes.

Special interests: Hands on, youth, direct client services, food, skill-based, physical labor, working outdoors, great opportunity for groups!

Back to School Bash
July 25, 2020

We want to make going back to school the bash that is should be. Back to School Bash provides school age children with their school supply list, parents and teachers with resources and families with an afternoon of fun. 3-hour volunteer shifts.

Special interests: Literacy, mentorship, children, school partnerships, outdoors, direct service, great opportunity for individuals or groups!

Day of Caring
September 11, 2020

Our community comes together in times of need and times of celebration. The 26th annual Day of Caring represents a community coming together for the 911 and Boulder Flood remembrance as well as to celebrate all the possibilities we can accomplish when we LIVE UNITED.

Special interests: Hands on, youth, direct client services, food, skill-based, physical labor, working outdoors, great opportunity for groups!
