Crossroads Elementary Tutoring Program

Who: All Minneapolis faculty and staff

What: Tutoring a small group of children in Reading, Writing, or Math

Where: Crossroads Elementary, one of the university’s partner schools in St. Paul Public Schools.

When: Wednesday mornings (8:00 – 10:00 AM) between Sept 18, 2019 and Jan 29, 2020 (you would be scheduled to tutor four times between these dates)

Why: You will bring a smile to the faces of so many children, and will have fun doing so!

No prior experience working with children or working in a school is required. The Riley College of Education and Leadership will provide training to you prior to your first day of tutoring, and will make sure you go into the school feeling comfortable. In addition, on your first day of tutoring, the Volunteer Coordinator at Crossroads will give you an orientation of the program, including a tour of the school.
