Saturday Service Project - December

Saturday, December 14th, 2019 from 9:00am to 11:00am (CT)

About

Join us along the boundary of the Wolf River watershed to help restore the natural beauty of the wetlands and surrounding area.  We will remove tires and litter left by illegal dumping, enhancing the entire neighborhood in the process, and removing the debris before it enters our local waterways.

Depending on the conditions at the time, we may also remove invasive species or perform some light pruning.

The Conservancy will have a limited number of gloves, tools, and bug spray available; please feel free to bring your own if you have them.

  • To access the large piles of tires, volunteers will need to hike 0.5 mile through rough trails or will be shuttled to the site off of the Interstate.
