Details: If you want to lend a hand, your help is needed at Mt. Sequoyah Woods, a 97-acre open greenspace in south Fayetteville. We're removing invasive shrubs which helps provide space for native plant growth and creates habitat for wildlife. Come make a difference in the Beaver Lake Watershed and your community, improving and protecting our most precious natural resource - water! Gloves, tools, water, snacks, and hands-on training will be provided.
Directions: Located just off S Happy Hollow Road, W of The Cliffs Apartments and Happy Hollow Elementary. The parking lot for the trailhead leading to the pavilion is just off E Paddock Rd.
