Description

Join the Cesar E Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation's 23rd annual march, "Voices and Votes for Education, Social Justice, & Equality" celebrating the life and work of Cesar Chavez and raising awareness about current issues impacting our communities. 


We also invite you to participate in the YES WE CAN! campaign by bringing 1 can of food to the march to donate to the SA FOOD BANK.

VIA is offering FREE round-trip Park & Ride from UTSA Downtown Campus, Lot D1 (under the freeway, across from Bill Miller Plaza). Buses will start at 8:30 am at the UTSA Downtown Parking Lot D1 (Pecos and Dolorosa) to start of march. 
Return trip at 3:00 pm from Old Bowie Street next to Institute of Texas Cultures.

Requirement Details
Please arrive at your bus pick up location promptly!
All participants are encouraged to wear UTSA orange to show our spirit and pride!
***Buses leaving from UTSA Downtown Campus Lot D1 to march line-up will start at 8:30 am. You have the option to a self-transport option – you must indicate a selection***
Buses return from Institute of Texas Cultures at 3:00 pm to UTSA DT Campus Lot D1.
Use the "Add Minor" option to add family members attending with you.
